Late, late comeback earns Stars a point against Montrose

Dundee Stars staged a late comeback to earn a point against Montrose in Scottish Futsal League Dundee.

Trailing 5-3 with less than a minute to go, Stars scored twice through Faisal Ahmed and Gavin Ogilvie, notching his second of the night, to salvage a draw on Thursday. Stars other strikes were own goals as Lee Cameron (3), Ewan Stewart and an own goal counted for Montrose.

Dryburgh lost out 4-3 to Dundee Celtic as Keiron Gardiner struck a late winner. Dominic Duffy, Flynn Duffy and Alex Gibb also scored for Celtic. Dryburgh’s scorers were Chris Peachey, Mark Sloan and Adam Hounih.

Champions Dundee West cruised past Dundee City 7-2.

In the other game of the night St Andrews University beat Dundee University 4-3.
