Both champions Dundee West and Montrose kept up their 100% start to the Dundee Futsal League but it was Dundee Celtic who took all the headlines.
The new boys picked up their first competitive victory in the sport during an incident-filled clash with Dundee Stars. Leading 4-2, Celtic were incensed at some refereeing decisions and at one point were reduced to just three men but somehow kept five-man Stars out for the two minutes before they got their one sub back on the court. And, still with just four men, they sealed a 5-2 win through Daniel O’Shea’s late lob
West, meanwhile, taught their B team West FD a harsh lesson with a 12-1 victory before Montrose moved with them to six points from two games after seeing off Dundee City 3-2.
Picking up their first win of the season were Dryburgh with a last- minute winner from Liban Dida Dida sealing a 5-4 victory over St Andrews University.
